Thank you Benevolent Caucasian. It seems you are the only one in history to like this post. And you are a conservative. Shocker. No seriously, I deeply appreciate your comments. Just one thing though, be careful about the generalizations. Muddying the argument with personal attacks and distortions is more often a conservative strategy than a liberal one. Think about what Karl Rove did to John McCain in the 2000 Primary. I agree that arguing with liberals is pathetic, but I still am one, and I actually believe arguing with conservatives to be MORE pathetic.

And please recognize that Obama is not a liberal President, and tell all your conservative friends to do the same. This is what I mean, PATHETIC. Obama was a liberal candidate, yes. Not a liberal President. He is extremely moderate. Restoring the upper class tax rate from 35% to 38% does not make one a socialist, or a communist, or a Muslim extremist. The tax rate was higher under Reagan.

I believe most so-called “liberals” don’t have one clue what they believe or why they believe it. they’re too busy repeating what the leftist/statist media is barfing up to actually put forth any effort and investigate what is said by the mainstream/leftwing media. It’s pretty sad when one of your own (you this blogwriter) sees it as an insider. But I admire your integrity for seeing the truth and calling it what it is. I once was a “liberal” til i saw the light (ahem, truth) and began to see how liberalism was actually fascism. The term is incredibly misleading and only serves to take one’s rights from them. One of which . . .

If you truly wish to define yourself as a liberal, then do not disrespect the greatest of individual liberties; the right of free speech and expression” – I couldn’t agree more with sidewalk! honestly i don’t even want to debate with liberals anymore. it gets downright pathetic-it really does. it’s the same crap all the time-deflect from the main subject, and rant and rave like a child; yell & scream over top of your opponent so they can’t get a word in edgewise, and generally just waste so much time (not allowing anyone to make a point) a point never gets made; nothing gets accomplished-you know, like today’s modern liberal in the whitehouse and congress.
