BuSpar (buspirone) is an efficient medicine used for short-term treatment of anxiety symptoms. You will be recommended to use it two or three times a day and will need to follow those recommendations observing your dose each time. Never take more of BuSpar than necessary, as the dose you are prescribed is based on your individual needs. In case you happened to take too much of BuSpar the following symptoms may be experienced: drowsiness, vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, and upset stomach. Seek emergency medical help in case of an overdose and tell your doctor you have taken too much of BuSpar for the right treatment to be found. Serious side effects of BuSpar are unlikely but you need to know about the possibility and report them immediately to your doctor. The following ones are sometimes reported: itching, fast or irregular heartbeat, skin rash, and blurred vision. Mild side effects of BuSpar include diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, fatigue, upset stomach, lightheadedness, depression, weakness, stomach pain, headache, dry mouth, difficulty sleeping, excitement, vomiting, and nervousness. They tend to be short-lived and go away on their own.
